This stately 1919 brick Georgian colonial is located in a historic Brookline neighborhood. After significant interior renovations, the new owners sought to rejuvenate their landscape. Neglected for many years, the patio and walkways were unsafe and unsightly, and the plantings leggy and unattractive. We designed and installed hardscape, irrigation, lighting and a Cultec stormwater management system. Over 1,500 square feet of natural cleft bluestone, and strategically located granite steps allowed management of the grade transition to the existing driveway. Patio border treatments integrated the original Boston Brick and cobblestones from the site to create multiple gathering areas for the young family to enjoy and share. As with all our projects, a combination of plants now offers lush environment and four-season beauty.
